So in the last 6 months I have managed to travel this world with a guitar on my back. Some of the shows were amazing some were a little tougher then other...
For example... Belgium, performing in a little venue. I was setting up to play and plugging my cables in, I happened to turn around with my guitar strapped to me and my tuning forks happened to touch a light fixture. I got shocked w/ a bolt of electricity that sent my guitar flying and me to my knees. I figure my hair would have been standing on end but I had kinda styled that way already so I managed to walk away with a dazed look on my face and wobble knees. Then I proceeded to perform for 2 hours.
I hit up England, France, Italy, Belgium, Holland and Switzerland on my European tour and I had the best of times. Big Love to everyone I met and lets hope we can make some music together soon.

When I returned from 5 weeks of Europe I then proceeded to go to Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic to surf & play a few shows only to return home to Cali and leave a week later to Asia for the release of my new Album "Perfect Sometimes" on Sony.
I landed in Japan and it was go go go from the second I got there - I figured out how to get over jet-lag - Go to Tokyo! Japan was amazing again, getting to play some shows with Jake Shimabukuro - a private show at "Nami" a show at Tower Records and lots of sushi.
Love Japan!!!!! The nicest people in the world!



So... before all those trips I went back to Hawaii to shoot the Promotional Video for my new single "Perfect Sometimes"

Well after all the traveling I am back in sweet San Diego playing a few local shows for the next few months before I head out on tour again in January.

This weekend I head off to the Caribbean - I have a few shows lined up in the Dominican Republic and I am so excited- I used to live down there years ago and it is my favorite place in the world! I'll be there till mid Sept then I will be back in California for a few shows before departing again to Japan for the release of my new album. I will be performing w/ Jake Shimabukuro www.jakeshimabukuro.com You have to watch this video of him!!! He is a prodigy . A true Japanese - Hawaiian legend in the making. www.youtube.com/watch?v=puSkP3uym5k - He is an amazing performer and one of the nicest guys I have ever met, I was honored to have him perform on my album.
After Tokyo I plan on flying into Vancouver Canada and performing Venue TBD

For those of you in California... Tonight I'll be jammin at PB Bar & Grill and on Friday I will be performing at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach. www.sawdustartfestival.org I was at this festival the other week and it is a must ! The energy and the people ... amazing artists everywhere-Just a great time - So for anyone in O.C or L.A try to come down - Its only $7 and its going to be an amazing summer night w/ art and music* Oh yeah...& I think Im performing right by the beer garden ** I go on at 5pm and play till when ever !

Just returned from Hawaii where we shot the video for Perfect Sometimes… thinking it’s been way too long since I wrote my thoughts but there is a reason for that. I’ve been slammed! Recording my new album took up a lot of energy but also filled me w/ a lot of positive energy. Working w/ Mikal Blue & Andrew Williams was awesome. Nothing is better then having songs you wrote come to life in the studio. I put my heart and soul into this project and at the same time the universe was working w/ me like never before. I feel this is my best material to date and I’m excited for what the future holds!! So we have wrapped up the recording process and just got back from shooting the video for my single “Perfect Sometimes” Its been over 6 months since I’ve been in Hawaii- my home away from home- The trip was a busy one! We spent hours scouting locations – the next day I hit up the studio w/ Jake Shimabukuro and filmed his cameo in the video. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puSkP3uym5k - You gotta check this guy out

Fri we really dug our heels into the filming and I performed w/ Jake in Waikiki in the evening. Then on Sat & Sun wrapped up the video. That left me Mon-Wed to surf and play my guitar** Not Bad!

I’ll be back Cali for a few weeks then in early July I will be leaving for Europe to tour for 1 month. England-Switzerland-France-Italy-Holland-Belgium. Now that's a tour I’m looking forward to!! If you know some friends in those countries or plan on being in Europe make sure you find me!! I’m going to need a drinking buddy over there!
We don’t have an exact date the album will be released and it might even come out in Asia before we release it here but I promise it will be soon. I’m thinking about a release party in August when I return from Europe, maybe on a roof top deck w/ a pool as the sun is setting! That's sounds perfect to me…

If you’re reading this you must have heard my new songs… They are up on my Myspace and my Website. If you’re digging my sounds I could really use your help spreading the word about my new album. If I come perform in your town or your neighborhood it makes it that much easier for me to book a show when I have a bunch of friends & fans there.
